The CAIRN Trust Wish List
At The CAIRN Trust we want to support the poorest communities in the quest to educate their children and to bring them up in a more secure and loving environment. Our Wish List enables donors to choose a specific project or part of a project which requires larger funding. If you have any additional ideas of things you would like to fund, we would love to hear them.
Please note that we also greatly appreciate unrestricted funding as it allows us to build capacity and deploy your funds in the most beneficial way.
The following list describes some of the wishes in our 2008 Wish List and their costs. Every wish goes a long way towards helping us meet our goals.
Wish List
- £5 buys a study table and a chair for a child
- £10 buys a school book rack
- £20 provides a child with food for 2 months
- £60 buys a CAIRN Education Award for a child
- £300 buys 3 children's annual health checks
- £600 buys 10 years Educational Award for a child up to the secondary level
- £2,500 builds a CAIRN library
