Give Through Your Salary
A small donation each pay day can make a big difference to children in Nepal.
£10 a month provides two children the opportunity to go to school with all their educational supplies.
What is Giving Through Your Salary?
Often called payroll giving, this is a tax efficient way of giving directly from your pay because your donation comes out of your salary before it is taxed. Giving to The CAIRN Trust before you are taxed means your gift is worth more as the money you would have given to the Inland Revenue comes to use instead.
How is it Calculated?
Did you know that if you donate £10 a month to The CAIRN Trust from your pay, your gift will only cost you £6 if you are a higher-rate tax payer or £8 if you pay the basic tax rate. The HMRC gives us the extra £4 or £2! (At the basic rate of taxation). You can start, stop or change the amount of your donation at any time.
Use our payroll giving calculator to work out how much a donation would cost you and how much it would be worth to us.
